Make the most of your stay by flying in a small tourist plane over the area’s two main sites: Ayers Rock (Uluru) and the Olga Mountains (Kata Tjuta)!
After being picked up from your hotel near Ayers Rock, you will head to the region’s small airport. You will then take to the skies for 40 minutes, on board a small tourist plane. Take in the aerial views of the following sites:
- Ayers Rock (Uluru): fly over this immense sandstone inselberg, also known as Uluru, which rises up nearly 350 metres over the plains. This is a sacred location for the local Aborigine population.
- The Olga Mountains: also known as Kata Tjuta, the Olgas are a range of exactly 36 domes (inselbergs). This spectacular site is one not to miss!
