Set off for a half-day excursion to two of the region’s most iconic sites: the Olga Mountains and Ayers Rock!
After being picked up from your hotel near Ayers Rock in the early morning, you will travel through the desert towards Ayers Rock (Uluru) in order to view the site during sunrise, while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee and biscuits. Admire the changing color shades and wander at the sun appearing on the horizon. Next, head towards the desert to the Olga Mountains, also known as Kata Tjuta. On your way, you will stop off a few times to admire the scenic views (south side of Kata Tjuta) and listen to the commentary from your local guide.
You will then arrive at Walpa Gorge. Take a footpath along this natural creek located between two of Kata Tjuta’s highest domes.
At the end of the morning, around 11am (April to September) or 10:30am (October to March) you will be returned to the your hotel.
