Hop aboard your boat for a one-hour cruise on Lake Minnewanka in the heart of Banff National Park.

Enjoy a unique way to experience the Canadian Rockies. You'll love the unique landscape, with towering peaks rising from the lake's edge, where the water is a unique shade of emerald green.

Listen to your captain's commentary and learn more about the history of this stunning site. This is the second largest lake in the Canadian Rockies. The shores were inhabited for many years, until a dam was built in 1941, raising the water level by 30 metres. The former village is now a popular diving spot.

Discover the surrounding nature and the local inhabitants. You'll spot animals such as sheep, bald eagles, deer, and even bears!

  • Times:
    - July 1 to September 7, from 10 am to 6 pm
    - September 8 to September 20, from 10 am to 6 pm
    - September 21 to October 12, from 12 pm to 5 pm
  • Cruise departures take place every hour throughout the year and every half hour from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm between July 1 and September 7
  • Departure location: Lake Minnewanka
  • Your cruise may be cancelled in the event of bad weather. An alternative date or refund will be offered
  • Banff National Park entry is not included in the price and must be paid by adults over 17 years of age
