Go on an adventure to the heart of Banff National Park and explore Grotto Canyon in the company of your guide!

Follow a frozen river bed and explore Grotto Canyon. Stop and admire the unusual rock formations and the frozen waterfalls. Your guide will show you the ancient native pictographs drawn on the wall of the canyon.

Your guide will tell you all about the geology of the region and its history.

Buono a sapersi

  • Seasonal activity: mid-December to early April only
  • Availability: every day (except in exceptional cases)
  • Location: hotel pick-up in Banff, location and address will be reconfirmed after booking
     
  • You'll walk 4.2 kilometers/ 2.6 miles with an ascent of 100 meters/ 328 feet
  • This hike is suitable for less experienced walkers
  • This hike is not open to children under 8 years of age
  • The hike takes place in small groups of 12 people maximum
  • Think about covering up well. Ski clothing is recommended
  • The operator reserves the right to cancel the tour if weather conditions are too bad. You will be offered an alternative date or a refund
