Unveil all the secrets of Colombian coffee on a private plantation tour departing from Bogotá!
Starting from your hotel, you'll head south to the Santa Coloma coffee plantation in Fusagasugá, which is about 1.5 hours from Bogotá. When you arrive, you'll begin with a tour of the plantation... stroll through the coffee plants and sniff that unparalleled coffee scent. Your guide will show you the different stages of coffee production, and will teach you how to grow, harvest, and process the beans.
After this, it'll be time for some coffee tasting; your guide will tell you all about the history and importance of coffee in Colombia. A typical Colombian meal will be served at lunchtime, and you'll be driven back to your hotel in Bogotá at the end of the tour.
