Experience the Train World museum and discover the world of trains and railways in Brussels!
The Train World museum welcomes you to the former Schaerbeek railway station, an iconic location as it is located on the first ever European railway line.
Spanning 8,000 m2, it exhibits a wide range of railway vehicles, from the world's first steam locomotive "Pays de Waes" to the modern high-speed trains we know today. Step aboard a world of trains with sounds, lights and image effects.
On this journey, you'll learn more about the evolution of the technology used and the safety put in place on rail networks with an authentic railway track. The museum also tells the story of the railway workers, without whom the train would be nothing, through portraits and stories.
You'll take a leap back to the 19th century and experience the train in the conditions of the time thanks to life-like train reconstructions. A universal means of transport, you'll discover its many uses and even get to step inside a real postal carriage!
Before you finish your visit, don't miss out on a first-class seat on one of the most modern trains designed by Siemens, Alstom and Bombardier...!
