Commentary from your guide

Descrizione

Cycle to the south of Buenos Aires and discover the history and architecture of the city!

Set off in the early afternoon with your guide for a tour in the south of Buenos Aires.
Your tour will begin in the San Telmo district. You'll head to Plaza Dorrego, the legendary neighbourhood square where the Feria de San Telmo is held, the antiques fair that brings together the antique dealers of Buenos Aires every Sunday. Your tour will take you to Parque Lezama, a park in the heart of the San Telmo neighbourhood boasting numerous miradors and an amphitheatre.

You'll then head to the famous La Boca neighbourhood, known for its colourful houses, Caminito street, and Club Atletico Boca Juniors football club, as the legendary and lively Bombonera stadium.

Next, head to the Avellaneda neighbourhood, where you'll board the Nicolás Avellaneda Transporter Bridge, one of the only remaining transporter bridges in the world.

Then it's on to the newer neighbourhood of Puerto Madero, which is bordered by the Rio de la Plata River. This neighbourhood is home to the Buenos Aires Ecological Reserve, a colossal green space of around 350 hectares with a rich and varied array of plant and animal life in a city of 13 million inhabitants.

Following this tour of the reserve, you'll head to the Plaza de Mayo, the city's central site where all the country's political affairs take place. In this square, you'll find the Casa Rosada (Government House), Metropolitan Cathedral, the Cabildo National Historical Museum, and many other public monuments...

Your tour will finish up at our local tour operator's meeting point.
