Explore the famous Loire Valley Castles on a private excursion departing from your hotel in Paris!
Your day will begin with a pickup at your hotel early in the morning. You will be driven in a private vehicle to the Château de Chambord, one of the largest castles in the region. You will have approximately 1.5 hours to explore at your own pace this Renaissance masterpiece, famous for its double-helix staircase designed by Leonardo da Vinci. You can also take a stroll through the forests surrounding the castle, once used for royal hunting.
The tour will continue to the medieval town of Blois, where you will have free time for lunch (not included). Afterward, you will visit the Royal Château of Blois at your leisure, another emblematic example of Renaissance architecture, adorned with sculptures of the symbol of King Francis I: the salamander.
Finally, you will head to the Château de Chenonceau, where you can freely explore its elegant gardens and cross its gallery, immersing yourself in the history of this monument, shaped by the women who influenced it: Catherine Briçonnet, Diane de Poitiers, Catherine de Médicis, Louise de Lorraine, and Louise Dupin.
You will then drive back to Paris in the afternoon and be dropped off at your hotel in the evening.
