Learn about the history of the Miraflores locks before setting off on a cruise on the canal and Lake Gatun to observe monkeys and toucans!
You'll be collected from your hotel and set off for the canal's Miraflores locks, a twenty-minute drive from Panama City. You'll watch a boat pass through the locks before watching a 3D film about the construction of the canal, illustrating its evolution from 1887 to the present day.
Then, your guide will accompany you aboard a boat for a ride between the Panama Canal and Lake Gatun. You'll be able to observe monkeys and toucans from your boat.
To conclude your adventure, you'll have the opportunity to access the sloth sanctuary for 1 jour to learn more about their behavior and life in the sanctuary.
You'll then be escorted back to your hotel in Panama City at the end of the excursion.
