Located in the Prince's Palace, an 18th-century rococo building, the National Museum of Denmark invites you on a journey through 14,000 years of history. You'll discover archaeological treasures, ethnographic artifacts and interactive exhibits that trace the evolution of Danish society and cultures from around the world.

Among the star exhibits, don't miss "The Viking Sorceress", which delves into the mystical world of the Vikings, and the section dedicated to classical and oriental antiquities, where you can admire Egyptian mummies, Persian ceramics and Greek sculptures.

The Children's Museum offers a fun experience for younger visitors, with activities such as sailing on a Viking ship, taking part in a 1930s class or preparing a medieval meal.

Your ticket gives you access to all the museum's permanent exhibitions. Also enjoy modern facilities, including free lockers for your personal belongings.
