At the heart of the Zulu Kingdom, a guide will show you around the oldest African reserve!

Departing from your hotel, you'll travel to the reserve in an air-conditioned vehicle. When you arrive, you'll be able to observe the wild animals within some fantastic scenic landscapes. The reserve is actively engaged in the protection of white rhinos, its successful work for this endangered species earning it international recognition.

On board your vehicle (minibus, van or saloon car according to the number of passengers), you will be able to see the famous "Big Five" animals: lions, leopards, African elephants, black rhinos and buffalo! Gaze upon their stunning natural habitat during lunch in a restaurant overlooking the site.

If you want, you can enhance your safari experience by taking the tour in an open-top vehicle (supplement of approximately 360 ZAR/$35, payable locally). This option enables you to get even closer to the wildlife!

At the end of this exotic excursion, you will be returned to your hotel.

Buono a sapersi

  • Availability: Monday, Wednesday and Friday (apart from exceptional dates).
  • Duration: 12 hours approx.
  • Departure time: 6am. We recommend that you arrive at the meeting point 30 minutes before the departure time
  • Departure point: you can choose to go directly to the meeting point or to be picked up at or near your hotel (the meeting point will be confirmed after booking)
     
  • You will be asked to show your passport to participate in this tour. We advise you to find out the Lesotho entry VISA requirements (presentation of a passport will be sufficient for most nationalities)
  • Children aged 2 years and under cannot take part in this excursion
  • The tour may be cancelled if there is only 1 participant, or if the weather conditions are particularly bad. In this event the activity will be re-scheduled, or a refund will be made
  • The journey in 4x4 is only for the mountains of Sani Pass
  • Transport for the return trip to Durban will be in an air-conditioned vehicle (saloon car, mini-van or bus according to the number of participants)
  • Lunch will be provided during this excursion.
