Enjoy a guided tour of Jerusalem and walk in the footsteps of Jesus Christ!
Leaving your hotel in the early morning, your expert guide will take you on a tour in the footsteps of Jesus.
See the Mount of Olives and its incredible panoramic views of the city of Jerusalem. The Mount of Olives is a sacred place for both Jews and Christians and pilgrimages are often organised. Once at the summit, you'll visit the Church of the Ascension, where Jesus ascended to heaven, and the Pater Noster Church, where Jesus taught the Lord's Prayer to his disciples.
Head back down the mount towards the Garden of Gethsemane and the Basilica of the Agony, more commonly known as the Church of All Nations, where Jesus was arrested by the Romans.
Pass through the Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives and continue down the Kidron Valley. You'll have free time for lunch at a local restaurant in the Old City.
Next, continue your walk to the pool described as miraculous in John's Gospel: the Pool of Bethesda. Then, head into the Old City through the Lions' Gate.
Your guide will take you to the Church of St. Anne, where legend has it that the Virgin Mary was born. You'll then pass by the convent of the Sisters of Our Lady of Sion, which leads to the Via Dolorosa, where Jesus suffered the weight of the cross he carried on his back just before his crucifixion.
The bus will take you back to your hotel at the end of an educational day.
