Make the most of your stay in Lisbon with a guided e-bike tour of Monsanto Forest Park!
You'll need to be at the meet-up point 15 minutes before your tour starts so you can check-in. Once you're kitted out and on your e-bike, you'll set off on a long 3.5-hour ride through Lisbon and its famous Monsanto Park, known as "Lisbon's green lung".
You'll start your ride by passing the Rossio, a square in Lisbon's old town that's famous for numerous historical events. You'll continue on to Eduardo VII Park, the largest park in the city centre. You'll then arrive at Monsanto Park, and stop at the "Restaurante Panorâmico", which was built over a century ago but abandoned over a decade ago. It has an unforgettable panoramic view of Lisbon.
You'll then go for a ride around in Monsanto Park, a massive 900-hectare park that is still unspoiled by mass tourism. The perfect place to recharge your batteries! You'll wind along the park's paths, listening to your guide's anecdotes.
You'll then exit the park and continue past the National Palace of Ajuda, which was built in 1975, and was the last official residence of the Portuguese Royal Family.
You'll then move onto the Lisbon Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology, located on the banks of the Tagus River. Finally, you'll arrive at the famous "Praça do Comércio", a beautiful riverside square. It was destroyed after the Lisbon earthquake in 1755 and then rebuilt.
You'll finish your tour by returning to the set-off point.
