Enjoy a performance of Fado, traditional Portuguese songs, and a three-course dinner or two drinks! (depending on the option chosen)

You will experience an evening in a Traditional Fado House, like a true Lisbon native. These popular places in Lisbon allow you to enjoy typical dishes from the region while attending a Fado performance: melancholic traditional Portuguese songs.

For a full immersion, opt for the dinner and show option to sample Portuguese food. You will then have an appointment at the Fado House half an hour before the start of the performance and your food will be served to you at the start of the performance (browse the menu below). If you opt for the show only option, you will be offered two drinks (soft or alcoholic*).

This evening will introduce you to Lisbon as experienced by the locals.

  • Availability: every day (except under exceptional circumstances)
  • You will not be able to choose the venue: you will attend the Fado performance either at Fado em Si or at Páteo de Alfama. These are two of Lisbon's most famous Fado houses. The venue will be confirmed to you after booking
  • Start time: 8.30 pm at Fado em Si and 8.45 pm at Pateo de Alfama
  • Show duration: 1 hr 30
  • Duration of dinner and show: 2 hrs
  • If you choose the show only option: please come to the restaurant fifteen minutes before the start of the performance. You will have two free drinks during the show
  • If you choose the dinner and show package: please come to the restaurant half an hour before the start of the show. Dinner will be served at the beginning of the Fado performance. The menu is the same for both Fado houses. You will find the menu above
  • In order to access the activity, you will just need to present your voucher on arrival at the restaurant
