Time to head out with your family or friends and visit the Nile's famous two banks, leaving from Luxor in the company of a local Egyptologist guide!
You'll enjoy free transport from your hotel or cruise ship, in an air-conditioned bus, to the West Bank of the Nile to visit the Valley of Kings. This vast region of Egypt houses the tombs of the New Kingdom pharaohs. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a mysterious place that still holds many secrets.
You'll visit the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only female pharaoh to rule ancient Egypt. Built in the middle of nowhere, this temple is an architectural feat. You'll then have lunch at a local restaurant, recommended by your guide.
After lunch, you'll head to the East Bank of the Nile to visit the temple of Karnak, the largest temple in Egypt and the temple of Luxor dedicated to the deity Amun.
After your day exploring both banks of the Nile, you'll be taken back to your hotel or cruise ship.
