The Hop-on Hop-off bus : "Hop-On Hop-Off" bus for 24hrs: Hop on and off the bus as you wish, and spend as much time as you like at the various sites you visit. You can board at any stop, at any time of day, as many times as you like over 24 hours. There are two routes - North and South, which stop at sites such as the Presidential Gardens of San Anton, the historic town of Mdina, the craft village of Ta' Qali, the fishing village of Marsaxlokk, and more (please see list of stops below). Thanks to an audio guide in 13 languages, you'll learn more about the history, culture and interesting facts about each location, for a fascinating tour.
Optional: Cruise around Valletta (departing from Sliema ferry terminal). You'll embark for a 1h30 cruise around the two natural harbors on either side of the capital, Valletta (Marsamxett Harbour and Grand Harbour), allowing you to admire the fortifications, ramparts and coves located between Valletta and the Three Cities (Vittoriosa, Cospicua and Senglea). You can get off at Esplora to explore Kalkara, a village home to Fort Ricasoli where scenes from Gladiator and Game of Thrones were filmed. As with the bus, you'll visit on your own and re-board the next ferry. Commentary will be provided through an audioguide throughout the cruise, giving you interesting information about the places visited, their history and cultural significance.
