Discover the riches and diversity of Australian species by wandering one of the country's most beautiful natural reserves!

Discover over 200 Australian animal species evolving in the natural habitats of the Healesville Reserve. In the picturesque Yarra Valley, discover koala’s, kangaroos, wombats, emu’s, dingo’s, platypus and hawks that inhabit 30 hectares of bush landscape

The multitude of nests, burrows and other habitats make this reserve unique and one-of-a-kind. Throughout the tour, you will be able to observe animal behavior from up-close with family or friends!

  • Availability: every day (excluding exceptional dates)
  • Location: the Healesville Reserve is located 1 hour east of Melbourne in Yarra Valley
  • Duration: open visit from 9am to 5pm
  • Free admission on weekends and during local school holidays for all children under the age of 16 years. Please consult the website for these dates. You may also collect children tickets directly onsite
