Make the most of your stay in Tennessee by visiting Memphis, the birthplace of blues and a city with a legendary musical history!
Departing from Music City, Nashville, you will head to Memphis, around 3 hours away.
Upon arrival, begin by visiting Graceland (with priority access), the home of Elvis Presley, which has become a museum dedicated to the star and a real pilgrimage site for his fans. Whether you are a huge fan of the King or not, this site will help you to understand the fascination surrounding him.
You will then head to the Sun Studio, the birthplace of rock ‘n’ roll where the first examples of the genre were recorded. Then, continue to the Peabody Hotel, an establishment that has become famous for its imposing fountain in the lobby and the ducks that swim there.
Finally, you can’t visit Memphis without going through its main artery, the famous Beale Street. Stop off at the various sites and, should you wish, at some of the bars, with their unique rock ‘n’ roll atmosphere!
