Descrizione

Relive the natural disaster which impacted Italy in the year 79! Visit the archaeological site of Pompeii before climbing to the summit of Mount Vesuvius!

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in central Naples.

Start the visit with the archaeological ruins of Pompeii. Visit the Forum, the Baths and Lupanare which were buried by ash and lapilli during the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD.

Then take a lunch break with a pizza and drink package.

Then head to the famous Mount Vesuvius, responsible for the destruction of Pompeii. After reaching 1,000 metres by minibus, walk up to the volcano crater. Take advantage of the panoramic views of the Bay of Naples to take many photos.

Your driver will then take you back to your city centre hotel.

Buono a sapersi

  • Seasonal activity: available every day from 1 March to 30 November (except in exceptional circumstances)
  • Departure location: your hotel in central Naples
  • To take part in this activity simply present your booking voucher to the local tour operator
  • Your driver will collect the participants from the different city centre hotels. Pick-up may take half an hour
  • A multilingual guide is present during the tour, each guide will do the tour in a maximum of 2 languages
  • Hotel pick-up/drop-off is only possible for people accommodated in central Naples
  • The number of participants on the tour will vary depending on the season, however, there will never be more than 60
  • We recommend that you wear warm comfortable clothes and shoes (hiking style)
  • This excursion is not recommended for pregnant woman and people with heart problems
  • Important : If the Vesuvius park is closed due to bad weather on the day of activity, you will have a refund for ticket entry (12€ per person)
