For this excursion, your guide will pick you up in an eight-person van outside your hotel. Once your group is complete, you'll set off in the direction of the south-western tip of the island of Mallorca, towards the parc naturel de Sa Dragonera. This park, only accessible by boat, is a small island whose silhouette resembles a dragon asleep on the sea.
You'll arrive in the small village of San Telmo to take a boat for the20-minute crossing, bound for the small island. You'll be able to observe the 400 m high point of Sa Dragonera and enjoy the sea views.
You'll dock in the natural park. The latter is uninhabited and is a protected area. This is why the flora and fauna is very rich on this islet. Sa Dragonera is home to a population of small endemic lizards found on all Majorcan islets. Very curious, you'll be able to observe them throughout your excursion.
Accompanied by yourbiologist guide, you'll set off on a nature trail to the Tramuntanta lighthouse. The hike has little difference in altitude and crosses a large part of the island.
Then, you'll have lunch a picnic, made up of Mallorcan products, facing the sea. Throughout the walk, your guide will introduce you to the plant and animal species inhabiting the islet of Sa Dragoera.
You'll then return to the small port to catch the boat back to Mallorca at around 5pm.
