Discover the village of Valldemossa and the landscapes of the Sierra de Tramuntana!
On this excursion, your English-speaking guide will pick you up directly in front of your hotel. You'll board an 8-person mini-van heading for the Sierra de Tramuntana, the mountain range to the west of Majorca. You'll pass through landscapes dotted with terraced crops and olive groves.
All day long, you'll be able to admire the beauty of Mallorca's mountain scenery, and you'll be riding alongone of Europe's most beautiful roads.
Your first stop will be the village of Valldemossa, typical of Majorcan architecture with its golden stone houses and green shutters. Accompanied by your guide, you'll stroll through the flower-lined alleyways. You'll then visit the secular chartreuse where pianist Chopin and author Georges Sand resided.
Then you'll leave the village of Valldemossa in the direction of anold mill where you'll enjoy lunch.
Your next stop, will be a visit to Son Marroig, the palace of Archduke Louis Salvador of Austria, the cousin of Empress Sissi. You can discover a garden planted with oak and olive trees offering you a stunning view of the sea.
You'll then head back to the hanging village of Banyalbufar, overlooking terraced vineyards. During your excursion, your guide will tell you about the history of the perched villages of the Sierra de Tramuntana.
Finally, your guide will take you to the mirador de la Torre d'en Vergerwhere you can observe a view of the sea and the Sierra de Tramuntana.
Your return to your hotel will take place at around 5 pm.
