Explore Soller and its surroundings, visit an orange grove and climb aboard a vintage tramway!
For this day in the west of the island of Mallorca, you'll be picked up by your English-speaking guide in the early morning, directly in front of your hotel.
On board a van, you'll head for Soller, nestled in the heart of the Sierra Tramuntana mountain range. You'll discover a lively village with narrow shopping streets. You'll see its main square crossed by a vintage streetcar and dominated by its atypical church.
You'll then hit the road again to Biniraix, an authentic neighboring village. On the way, you'll enjoy views over the valley lined with olive, orange and lemon trees. Accompanied by your guide, he'll show you around this traditional village typical of the region.
Then it's back on the road towardsthe orange grove. You'll then discover how Soller's citrus orchards, which are famous all over the island, work. In keeping with Majorcan farming traditions, you'll learn how the fruit is grown and how it's transformed into artisanal products, such as ice cream.
After this visit, you'll be installed among the orange trees to enjoy a local and traditional Majorcan meal.
Your day will continue with the descent by vintage streetcar from Soller to Port de Soller. You'll enjoy panoramic views of the Sierra de Tramuntana and the sea below. You'll have free time to stroll along the promenade, swim or enjoy an artisanal ice cream.
Your return to the hotel is scheduled for around 5:00 pm.
