Discover the Mutianyu Great Wall and Beijing Olympic Park on a private tour with a local guide!
You will be picked up from your hotel in Beijing for a full day of exploration focused on two iconic sites of the Chinese capital.
Your morning will begin with a visit to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, a less crowded alternative to Badaling or Juyongguan, ideal for a more peaceful experience. You will have three hours to freely explore this UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and walk along the wall, which dates back to the Ming Dynasty.
Mutianyu is also well-suited for families with children or elderly visitors: access by cable car is available, as well as a fun toboggan ride down. For those who prefer to walk, it takes about 30 to 45 minutes to reach the wall from the entrance, via forest stairs winding up the mountainside.
After your visit, you will stop for lunch at a local restaurant (not included), before heading back toward the city center.
In the afternoon, you will explore Beijing's Olympic Park, the site of the 2008 Olympic Games. There, you will see the exteriors of the iconic Bird’s Nest (National Stadium) and Water Cube (Aquatic Center), two modern landmarks of the city.
At the end of the day, you will be driven back to your hotel.
