Descrizione

Enjoy a private guided tour of the city of Pompeii with a professional archaeologist guide.

Your guide will be waiting for you at the Porta Marina Superiore entrance to the site.

You'll tour the ruins of Pompeii, with commentary from an archaeologist guide who will tell you all about its history. They will explain how Pompeii flourished until it was destroyed in 79 BC when Mount Vesuvius erupted.

You'll explore the eastern part of the city, which was the main residential area. You'll visit the basilica, the forum, the thermal baths, the Lupanar – the city's famous brothel, the House of the Faun - one of the wealthiest residences of the Roman Republic, the thermopolium, a fast-food establishment in Roman times, and lots of other fascinating ruins.

You will enjoy commentary and historical anecdotes about this ancient town. Your guide will be able to answer all your questions.
