You'll be picked up from your hotel or pick-up point in Quito, and join your guide for a city tour.
You'll visit Quito's emblematic landmarks, aboard a replica of a traditional tram. Throughout the tour, you'll enjoy breathtaking views from the numerous vantage points that overlook the city.
You'll start by touring the streets of "La Mariscal" financial district.
Shortly afterwards, you'll stop at the Basilica del Voto Nacional, which is the largest neo-Gothic church in the Americas. Admire its façade while your guide briefly explains its history.
You'll then go to the Panecillo viewpoint, on the city's iconic hill, where you'll find a large statue of the Virgin Mary. Enjoy a magnificent and breathtaking panoramic view of Quito. The perfect place to take Insta-worthy shots!
You'll then head to the historical centre of the city, and in particular the Plaza de San Francisco, the city's history-packed emblematic square. From here you'll walk to the Plaza Grande, which is Quito's historical and political centre. Nearby, you'll see the Cathedral, the Government Palace, and numerous other landmarks.
You'll end your visit with a stroll through the traditional district of La Ronda, home to numerous craft shops. Learn about the artisans'crafts how they keep their traditions and culture alive. You'll visit an ice cream shop that sells typical Ecuadorian flavours, as well as a traditional hat shop.
