Day Trip to Southern Iceland - Jeep Tour at Solheimasandur and Climbing at Skogafoss - Departure from Reykjavik

Enjoy a Jeep tour of Solheimasandur, which contains a plane wreck, and discover the Skogafoss waterfall during this trip departing from Reykjavik!

The shuttle will pick you up in Reykjavik, and take you towards teh south. Along the way, discover the beauty of the landscape and enjoy commentary from the audioguide.

The trip will stop near the Katla volcano at Mýrdalsjökull for the Jeep tour. With your guide, cross the rivers and drive all the way to the Dyrholaey peninsula where you can see the famous sand beach volcano, Solheimasandur, as well as a plane wreck. During the 2 hours tour, visitors will also enjoy the country's landscape.

Before heading back to Reykjavik, stp at Seljalandsfoss to see the Skogafoss waterfall. It is special in that visitors can walk around behind it, between the rocks and the water.

You will return to Reykjavik in the afternoon.

Availability: Every day, excluding exceptions

Departure time: 9am from the main meeting spot, and between 8am and 9:30am from your hotel. The exact time will be confirmed after reservation

Return is scheduled for around 7:30pm

Children under the age of 8 are not allowed on this tour

Jeep drivers must present a valid license 

Please wear warn clothing

Lunch is not included, and there is not a stop planned. Visitors are advised to bring food with them
