When visiting Lapland, a sled dog ride is an activity not to be missed.
You'll enjoy a transfer from Rovaniemi and be driven into the middle of the Finnish Lapland forest, not far from the Arctic Circle.
You'll arrive at a husky breeding farm and get to know the breeders, from the Sami people an indigenous people of Lapland. You'll learn more about Sami culture, life on the farm and the daily lives of the breeders and dogs.
You'll get to know the huskies and share a special moment, all supervised by the breeders and your guide. You'll then climb aboard a sled and enjoy a short dog sled ride (about 800 meters).
Finally, to warm up and share a convivial moment with the breeders and your guide, you'll enjoy a Lappish snack of gingerbread and hot blueberry juice.
After this Lappish experience, you'll be driven back to Rovaniemi.
