In the early morning, accompanied by your guide, you'll set off along National Route 3 and admire the glacial valleys surrounded by sub-Antarctic forest.Departing from your hotel in Ushuaia, you'll head for Tierra del Fuego National Park, just a few kilometers from the city. You'll pass through typically sub-Antarctic landscapes, between mountains, valleys, lakes and rivers.
Throughout the excursion, you'll make several stops to discover the park's main sites. In particular, you'll observe the Pipo River and Mount Susana, before reaching Lake Acigami, surrounded by the Andean mountains.
You'll continue with a visit to the Alakush visitor center, which offers unobstructed views over the expanses of the park. You'll then stop off at the laguna Verde, known for its contrasting colors and tranquility.
Finally, you'll reach the famous Lapataia Bay, southern terminus of the Pan-American Highway. Conditions permitting, you'll be offered a short walk to take full advantage of the natural setting.
During this excursion, you'll have the opportunity to observe the local wildlife: Magellanic fox, caranca geese, giant woodpeckers, cachañas and many other bird species typical of the region.
At the end of the tour, you'll be driven back to your hotel in Ushuaia.
