Enjoy a day's cruise to Mnemba Island to discover its lagoon, coral reefs and watch the dolphins!
A real little island paradise, Mnemba Island measures just under 1 mile in circumference. Situated on the edge of the coral reef for which it is famous, its lagoon is well-known by divers from all over the world.
From Kendwa, you will board a dhow, a traditional sailing boat used for centuries in the Zanzibar archipelago.
On the crossing to Mnemba Island, there's a very good chance of seeing dolphins in their natural habitat. You can even jump into the water to swim with them if you want to. If the tide is out, you can also stop off at the island's sandbank for a swim in the atoll's warm turquoise waters.
You'll climb back aboard the boat to enjoy your lunch: a seafood barbecue with drinks included.
After the lunch break, you'll set off to discover the seabed with a snorkelling session. You can swim at your leisure, admire the reef and observe the marine life and the wide variety of tropical fish.
Finally, on the way back, you'll travel with the sail raised (weather permitting) and enjoy some fresh seasonal fruit while watching the sunset in a picture perfect setting.
You'll be taken back to the starting point at the end of the day.
