Set off to discover the blue lagoon and its reefs on a private day cruise!
Reputed to be one of the best diving spots on the island, the blue lagoon is located in the south-east of Zanzibar.
From Pingwe, you will reach the blue lagoon by dhow (a traditional boat) or aboard a speed boat, accompanied by your guide. From the boat, you'll have a breathtaking view of southern Zanzibar.
Once there, you can snorkel in the shallow waters of the lagoon. This is one of Tanzania's best diving spots, renowned for its rich marine life: surgeon fish, zebra fish, butterfly fish and blue sea fish.
You will then head to a location that is bursting with starfish. You will again be able to swim and observe life on the seabed.
Back on dry land, you'll have lunch at the famous The Rock restaurant (lunch not included), an incredible place to enjoy typical Tanzanian dishes.
Then, you will go back on board the boat to relax during your cruise and to admire the superb view of the sun sinking into the water.
You will then arrive at Kae Funk Beach, where you will spend the evening (dinner not included).
After your day discovering the blue lagoon, you will be taken back to your departure point by taxi.
